Fitchburg Cutoff Rail Trail

This existing, but virtually unknown trail connects to Alewife MBTA station. MassHighway is working, very slowly, on a improvement project in this area (MHD Project File# 600811).

The current trail entrance can be found on Brighton Road in Belmont, adjacent to the active MBTA railroad tracks.
